What you would do
- Provide budgeting and cost forecasting guidance
- Review and interpret contract terms to ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements
- Establish work breakdown structures and cost centres in the ERP system to enforce financial control
- Prepare and maintain project cost reports and related documentation control processes
- Oversee procure-to-pay workflows and maintain the department's commercial information/database
- Review contractor proforma invoices, generate call-offs, and process service entries to enable invoicing

- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or related engineering field; MSc preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in both office-based engineering and field supervision; 5 years in complex, high-risk drilling environments preferred
- Strong skills in ERP platforms (SAP Project Systems or Microsoft Dynamics), WellView costing modules, advanced Excel modelling, and AFE design tools
- Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials preferred
- Valid BOSIET (where applicable)
- IWCF or IADC Well Cap Level certification, renewed every two years (where applicable)
