Cost Controller

About this role

The Cost Controller will manage all budget and cost control activities for the IMA Project, implementing cost control structures, procedures and tools. The role involves preparing and analysing project cost information and coordinating with project package managers and the finance department, reporting to the Project Control Manager. It requires strict confidentiality and adherence to HSSE rules.

What you would do

• Implement and maintain the cost control structure, procedures and tools for the IMA Project.
• Prepare, analyse and present project cost information and documentation.
• Liaise with Project Package Managers and the Finance Department on cost control and accounting matters.
• Verify and approve invoices in accordance with contracts, procedures, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and the Delegation of Authority.
• Input payment schedules, invoicing and cost control data into the UNISUP system.
• Prepare project cost reports for management, subsidiaries, partners and shareholders.

• BSc in Accounting or a Finance equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar cost control position.
• Proficiency in SAP and Sage v12.
• Strong administrative, organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent command of English.
