What you would do
- Oversee the cost control functions within the Accounting Department
- Assist in running cost-related processes in line with corporate strategies and brand standards
- Support cost efficiency initiatives and financial reporting related to costs
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures in cost management
- Collaborate with other departments to align cost controls with operational needs
- Maintain accurate cost records and documentation
- Prepare reports on cost status and variances as required
- Contribute to budget preparation and monitoring activities
- Support internal controls and audit processes related to costs
- Provide administrative support as needed to the Accounting team

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Cost Controller in a larger operation
- Degree or Diploma in Finance, Commerce or Hospitality/Tourism management (preferably)
- Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills

- Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in relevant financial software and Excel or similar tools
- Understanding of cost control processes and internal controls
- Experience in hotel accounting or hospitality industry is an advantage
