The role centres on funding strategy and execution, sourcing capital from banks, investors, and financial institutions to support operations, growth and strategic initiatives, and on managing lender relationships and negotiating funding terms. It targets professionals with experience in corporate finance and with relevant accounting or finance qualifications.

What you would do

• Assist in sourcing and executing debt and capital market funding, including bank facilities, commercial papers, and structured finance.
• Structure financing solutions that align with cash flows, risk appetite, and long-term strategy.
• Support refinancing initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce the overall cost of funds.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and development finance institutions.
• Negotiate terms such as pricing, tenor, covenants, and security structures.
• Coordinate with Finance, Treasury and Legal teams to ensure timely data for compliance reporting and covenant management.

What they are asking for

• HND or BSc in Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance, or related field in data analysis or finance.
• Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA or CFA (added advantage).
• Computer literacy and advanced Excel skills.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in corporate finance and/or DFI financial covenant tracking.
