Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager (FMCG)

A senior FMCG role for a Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager based in Lagos. The position focuses on leading corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, sustainability/ESG initiatives, reputation management and policy advocacy, with oversight of reporting and team development.

What you would do

• Design and execute sustainability and ESG initiatives aligned with business objectives and standards.
• Develop stakeholder engagement plans to support business and sustainability priorities.
• Lead reputation management and crisis communication with timely responses to issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, NGOs, investors, communities and other stakeholders.
• Oversee preparation of sustainability, ESG and corporate affairs reports.
• Provide senior management with insights on emerging corporate affairs, sustainability, regulatory and reputational issues.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Management Sciences or related discipline.

• Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking and crisis-management skills.
