What you would do
- Plan routes and coordinate fleet to meet delivery targets
- Monitor and update trip status and maintain accurate records in relevant systems
- Track fuel usage and manage operating costs for efficiency
- Ensure loading orders are fulfilled and goods are delivered to correct destinations
- Update truck/trip data on i-manager and close trips after completion
- Monitor service mileage and schedule vehicle servicing within limits
- Ensure load tonnage limits are not exceeded and trucks move within speed limits
- Record daily/weekly/monthly trip data within client locations
- Conduct pre- and post-trip briefings for delivery officers and safety toolbox talks
- Maintain fleet documentation, safety kits and vehicle inspections; report incidents and insurance claims as needed
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in Sciences or any Social Science (not below second-class lower/lower credit)
- Certifications: CLTD, CILT, CSCP (or equivalents) in Logistics/Transportation & Distribution
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain/transport and logistics
- Experience in 3PL management, fleet management, driver management and warehouse management
- Good knowledge of Nigeria's road network and transport operations
