About this role
DP World is hiring for a Controller, Inventory (Diesel) based in Lagos. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock levels, reducing losses, and optimising resource use, with specific responsibility for managing fuel inventory for Ibadan NB operations and recording deliveries, shipments, issuances, and stock levels. The position involves daily reconciliation and monitoring of fuel probes, coordinating with Concept Nova and other teams, and ensuring internal controls and accurate reporting. It targets candidates with inventory management experience and ERP (SAP) familiarity, strong analytical skills, and relevant education. What you would do
- Oversee and manage inventory of goods and products within the organisation.
- Manage fuel inventory for Ibadan NB operations and record deliveries, shipments, and issuances.
- Daily probe capturing, stock level monitoring, and generation of GRN after deliveries.
- Export daily Imanager reports and preloading data.
- Collaborate with Concept Nova technical support for probe performance.
- Monitor fuel dispensed from the dump to various locations.
- Maintain accuracy and tolerance levels of the probe; estimate monthly utilisation and notify management.
- Reconcile SAP, INSTANTA and physical stock on a weekly basis.
- Resolve probe-related issues with Fleet Controllers; monitor probe status daily.
- Coordinate and report on diesel dump operations and fuel issuing as required.
