Control Room Operator
About this role
The role is for a Control Room Operator who will monitor and control detergent manufacturing processes from the control room, ensuring safe, efficient and uninterrupted production. It targets candidates with engineering, industrial chemistry or related backgrounds who can work in shifts and uphold safety and quality standards. What you would do
- Maintain accurate production records and shift handover.
- Support troubleshooting and minimise production downtime.
- Ensure production activities meet targets and quality standards.
- Coordinate with field operators, maintenance and quality control teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and control production processes from the control room.
- Operate PLC/SCADA systems and monitor process parameters where applicable.
- Identify and report process abnormalities, equipment faults and production deviations.

- Shift work ability
- OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or related discipline.
- Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably FMCG, detergent production or chemical processing.
- Experience with automated production systems is an advantage.
