Content Creator and Copy Writer

About this role

Vestates Limited seeks a Content Creator and Copy Writer in Abuja. The role involves developing engaging, brand-aligned content for the company’s subsidiaries, including copywriting, short-form video content, storytelling and overall content production. The successful candidate will translate marketing objectives into creative and commercially effective content, manage content calendars, and work with the marketing team to deliver campaigns and branded materials.

What you would do

• Develop creative content ideas aligned with marketing objectives for each subsidiary
• Write captions, social media copy, hooks, scripts and calls-to-action
• Create Reels, short-form videos, photos and other social media content
• Plan and execute content shoots using available equipment
• Prepare and submit monthly content calendars by due dates
• Deliver a minimum of 12 planned content pieces per month for each assigned subsidiary
• Create content for campaigns, promotions, launches, events and other activities
• Monitor social media trends and recommend content opportunities
• Collaborate with Social Media Manager, Graphic Designer and Photographer/Videographer to deliver content
• Review content performance and use insights to improve future content
