Bergstein Hospital is looking for an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join its team in Lagos. What you would do
- Manage patients with acute and chronic ophthalmic conditions and provide follow-up care.
- Collaborate with other consultants, nurses and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date medical records.
- Provide specialist ophthalmology consultations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, prevention and ongoing care.
- Uphold professional ethics, guidelines and patient safety standards.
- Contribute to improvement of clinical services and patient outcomes.
- Perform specialist ophthalmic procedures and interventions within scope of competence.
- Request, interpret and review relevant diagnostic investigations.
