About this role
A role for a experienced Consultant Family Physician to lead and mentor within the Family Medicine Department at ECWA Hospital Egbe, reporting to the Medical Director. The position involves clinical leadership, administration, supervision of residents, and participation in hospital and community life, with a commitment to the hospital’s mission and values.
What you would do
- Provide clinical leadership in the Family Medicine Department
- Contribute to day-to-day administration and supervision of residents
- Mentor colleagues and promote best practices in patient care
- Participate in hospital and community life as part of the team
- Support training and development of Family Medicine residents
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team and uphold mission values
What they are asking for
- Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or West African College of Physicians (WACP)
- Minimum of one year of licensed experience in Family Medicine
- Previous experience in a mission hospital is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, respectful and patient-centred
- Ability to work under pressure and function in a multidisciplinary team
