Consultant Cardiologist

About this role

This is a role for an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with Lily Hospitals Limited in Delta. The position involves delivering specialist cardiovascular care, diagnosing and treating a wide range of heart conditions, and managing patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What you would do

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and risk evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform and interpret cardiac investigations (ECG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring).
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and manage acute cardiac emergencies.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement programmes.

What they are asking for

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Full registration and valid practising licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Fellowship in Cardiology/Internal Medicine (FWACP, FMCP, FWACP Cardiology, or equivalent recognized qualification).
• Minimum 3 years' post-fellowship experience as a Consultant Cardiologist.
• Demonstrable experience in diagnosing and managing complex cardiovascular conditions and cardiac emergencies.
• Experience in echocardiography and interpretation of ECG and other cardiovascular investigations (desirable).
