The position is for a Consultant Cardiologist at Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Centre in Lagos. What you would do

• Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis and ongoing management of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
• Carry out and interpret cardiovascular tests, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing and Holter monitoring.
• Oversee complex cardiovascular conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias and valvular heart disease.
• Develop personalised, evidence-based treatment plans and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Lead and participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, morbidity and mortality reviews and continuing professional development activities.
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to junior doctors, residents, nurses and other clinical staff.

• MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical qualification.
• Fellowship in Cardiology or Internal Medicine from a recognised professional body.
• Minimum of 10 years post-fellowship experience in cardiology.
• Demonstrable experience managing complex cardiovascular cases.
• Strong expertise in cardiovascular diagnostics and evidence-based treatment.
• Excellent clinical leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff.
