About this role
A consultancy role to strengthen the West and Central Africa DAL team’s ability to independently deliver high-quality CFS analysis, provide hands-on technical coaching, and act as the primary quality assurance reviewer on analysis outputs through October 2026. The position targets improving capacity in data analysis, QA, and documentation for facility survey work within Evidence Action, with a focus on CFS and broader DAL workflows.
What you would do
- Provide technical coaching alongside the primary analyst to understand CFS analysis logic and KPI construction.
- Lead or co-lead training sessions on KPI definitions, survey design, and codebook conventions for the DAL team.
- Act as the primary quality gate for CFS outputs during the engagement, including independent reviews of rebinning, frequency outputs, and KPI codes.
- Develop and implement SOPs and a two-stage review protocol for CFS analysis and related workflows.
- Lead or contribute to pre-analysis protocol development, codebook reconciliation, and pipeline documentation.
- Support broader data analytics work by standardising validation protocols and training the team on non-CFS analyses.
What they are asking for
- Direct experience with large facility-level survey analysis (CFS, SPA, SDI or similar) including KPI construction, skip-logic, rebinning, and weighted estimation.
- Experience coaching and capacity building in analytical teams and explaining corrections clearly.
- Experience developing or co-developing analysis SOPs, QA protocols, or structured review checklists for survey data analysis.
