About this role
An experienced Construction Superintendent III is sought by Kimeric Nigeria Limited in Lagos to plan, coordinate and control day-to-day field operations for assigned crafts and subcontractors on oil and gas projects in Nigeria and the West Africa sub-region. The role requires prior Construction Superintendent experience on major capital projects and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. The position involves reviewing submittals and RFIs, assessing contractor health and safety plans, and serving as the lead company representative at designated project sub-sites when required.
What you would do
- Assist with preparation and review of submittals, RFIs, and RFCs, providing recommendations on suitability.
- Review contractor health and safety plans, traffic control, and erosion control measures.
- Verify quantities for payment.
- Identify construction non-conformance issues and assist in developing resolutions.
- Serve as lead Company representative at designated project sub-sites when required.
- Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with contractors.
