What you would do
- Monitor corrective actions for safety and quality issues to ensure timely resolution
- Oversee construction activities for compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify safety hazards, defects and environmental risks
- Maintain site inspection reports, risk assessments, safety records and quality documentation
- Enforce health and safety procedures and proper use of PPE
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and quality non-conformities and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and awareness sessions for workers and contractors
- Ensure contractors/subcontractors comply with policies and statutory requirements and construction safety standards
- Monitor and follow up on identified safety and quality issues until resolution
- Support enforcement of project requirements across construction sites

- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Relevant HSE or QHSE certification is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of construction site quality, health and safety management experience
- Good communication, reporting, problem-solving and inspection skills
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations, risk assessment, quality control and incident investigation
- Ability to work on construction sites and enforce safety procedures effectively
