Construction Project Manager

About this role

ARCO Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the development of the proposed Head Office Building in Lagos, reporting to the Group Managing Director. The role involves managing the project from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and alignment with the company’s property development objectives.

What you would do

• Plan, schedule and coordinate the project from inception to completion
• Manage budgeting, cost control and cash-flow monitoring
• Lead consultants, contractors and project teams
• Oversee contracts, procurement and materials management
• Supervise site activities, quality assurance and safety compliance
• Secure statutory approvals and oversee snagging, handover and completion

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Construction Technology or Quantity Surveying/Cost Management
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. MNIA, MNSE, MNIOB, MNIQS, MCIPMN or PMP)
• Minimum of 10 years' cognate experience across building/infrastructure projects, including medium- to high-rise construction
• Strong knowledge of building control regulations and construction processes
• Proficiency in digital design and cost-management tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
