Construction Maintenance Lead Tech III

About this role

This is a senior construction maintenance lead technician role based in Lagos. The incumbent will review requirements and specifications, perform technical tasks safely, inspect work and materials, coordinate with multiple teams, and maintain records for handover and reporting, targeting candidates with relevant qualifications and industrial or construction experience.

What you would do

• Review requirements, drawings, procedures and specifications before starting work
• Perform assigned technical activities safely and in line with approved procedures
• Inspect work, equipment and materials and identify defects or deviations
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineering, QA/QC, HSE and other disciplines to resolve interface issues
• Maintain accurate records, reports, checklists and handover information
• Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, permit-to-work activities and continuous improvement

• A relevant technical qualification or demonstrated trade competence
• A relevant degree, HND, OND, trade qualification or recognised professional certification for the discipline and level
• Experience in industrial, construction, oil & gas, marine or project work (preferred)
• Ability to read applicable technical documents

• Role-specific statutory, technical, offshore, safety or professional certifications as required by client/site standards
