About this role
Sapir Projects Limited, a Nigerian company with expertise in architecture, construction and interior design, seeks a Construction Builder to supervise on-site construction activities for residential, commercial and interior design projects in Lagos. The role involves interpreting architectural and structural drawings, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and coordinating site personnel, subcontractors, and materials to meet project timelines. The candidate will conduct inspections, manage documentation, and liaise with project managers, designers, quantity surveyors and clients to ensure the design intent is achieved. It requires maintaining records such as daily site reports and material usage, and identifying on-site issues with practical solutions in consultation with project leads.
What you would do
- Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities
- Interpret and implement architectural and structural drawings on site
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality specifications and regulations
- Manage site personnel, subcontractors and materials for efficient workflow
- Identify on-site issues and provide cost-effective solutions with project leads
- Conduct routine inspections of workmanship and materials
- Liaise with project manager, designers, quantity surveyors and clients
- Maintain detailed records including daily site reports and progress documentation

- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering or related field preferred
