What you would do
- Develop and implement the bank's compliance, regulatory and AML/CFT policies
- Monitor operations to ensure adherence to CBN, NDIC and internal controls
- Prepare and file statutory regulatory returns (CBN, NIBSS, NFIU, SEC, etc.)
- Manage regulatory reporting portals such as goAML, RapidAML, NIBSS fraud portal, and BankOne
- Oversee EDD and KYC onboarding processes
- Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments and branch audits; report suspicious activity and breaches
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Law, Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Microfinance or related field
- 5-7 years in regulatory compliance, risk management or internal control within a bank, MFB or financial institution
- Knowledge of CBN microfinance regulations, NFIU AML/CFT guidelines, NDIC requirements
- Experience with core banking software and regulatory portals (BankOne, goAML, RapidAML, NIBSS)
- Strong analytical, reporting, policy drafting, and risk assessment skills
- Professional certification such as ACIN, CIBN MCP, or CAMS is a plus
