Completions Operator

About this role

Geoplex Drillteq Limited is seeking a Completions Operator to work in the oilfield services sector, based in Rivers, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will hold a technical qualification in mechanical, petroleum or a related discipline and have 3–5 years of hands-on experience with completion tools.

What you would do

• Assemble completion equipment
• Redress completion equipment
• Function test completion equipment
• Install completion equipment
• Read basic completion schematics, equipment drawings and operating procedures

• OND/HND/Technical Diploma or recognised technical/vocational qualification in mechanical, petroleum, electrical or related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years hands-on completion tools experience
• Demonstrated practical experience in assembly, redress, function testing and installation of completion equipment
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, torque equipment, measuring instruments and pressure-testing equipment
• Ability to read basic completion schematics, equipment drawings and operating procedures
• Previous field experience with an established completion tools/service company will be a strong advantage
