Company Accountant
About this role
Eden Solutions & Resources Limited is seeking a Company Accountant for a full-time role in Abuja. The position involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, supporting planning and reporting, and ensuring strong financial controls across the firm. The employer provides services in human resources, recruitment, training, bookkeeping, and other business support activities. The role requires handling payroll, payables and receivables, budgeting, cash flow, and financial analysis to support management decisions.
What you would do
- Support payroll preparation and other routine financial processes
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist management with financial analysis and decision making
- Monitor income, expenses, invoices, payments, and receivables
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax requirements, and internal procedures
- Maintain organised digital accounting records and supporting documentation
- Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow, and expenditure
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records and accounting entries
- Identify discrepancies, control weaknesses and potential risks and recommend solutions
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Professional accounting qualification or relevant professional certification is an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple financial responsibilities
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting and controls
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Experience with a creative/ project-based business is an advantage
