Communications Intern

About this role

Lead For Good Africa is a leadership development and skill empowerment social enterprise. The Communications Intern will support the communications team in creating and executing materials to enhance LFGA's visibility, showcase its programmes and impact, and engage stakeholders. They will work closely with the Operations & Communications Team Lead to develop creative, organised and impactful content aligned with the organisation's vision and goals.

What you would do

• Create captions, newsletters, reports and other communication materials.
• Develop and prepare content for LFGA's Instagram and LinkedIn platforms.
• Prepare and distribute the organisation's bi-monthly newsletter.
• Conduct routine media monitoring and research.
• Collaborate with the Operations & Communications Team Lead on assigned communications activities.
• Provide support to team members as required.

• Creativity and ability to develop engaging content.
• Proficiency with Instagram and LinkedIn and solid knowledge of social media platforms.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Communications, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Media Studies, Journalism or related field.
• Relevant practical experience in content creation, social media management, communications or media is advantageous.
