Communications and Partnerships Manager

About this role

Role is Communications and Partnerships Manager for All On Partnerships for Energy Access in Lagos. It leads the Communications and Partnerships department, focusing on external communications and stakeholder engagement while overseeing the ecosystem enabling grants process; the role is part of the leadership team and also handles internal communications strategy.

What you would do

• Develop and implement integrated communications and reputation strategies to advance objectives and credibility.
• Lead creation of high-quality communications materials, platforms, and engagement frameworks communicating priorities and achievements.
• Direct executive thought leadership materials, including speeches, impact reports, newsletters, website content and press releases.
• Advise executive leadership on strategic positioning, messaging, stakeholder engagement and public affairs.
• Plan and execute communications campaigns, milestones, and high-profile initiatives to raise awareness and engagement.
• Serve as the primary liaison with agencies and media, coordinating engagements and events to raise visibility.

• Undergraduate degree in Communications, Business, Economics, Public Policy or relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of professional experience, including progressively senior leadership roles in complex organisations.
• Strong management skills, including short- and long-term planning, directing and motivating staff, organisational development and governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to communicate complex themes and engage diverse audiences; strong external communications and speaking skills.
• Proven track record in designing strategic partnerships and maintaining relationships with high-value donors and strategic partners.
• Deep understanding of the Nigeria energy access market and related investment/capital markets; integrity and intellectual curiosity.
