Commissioning Manager
About this role
The Commissioning Manager will represent the client for all on-site commissioning activities and lead the team through Ready for Commissioning, energisation and final handover. The role requires coordinating interfaces with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC and the Customer to deliver fully tested substations that meet contractual and technical requirements. It is intended for a senior professional with extensive HV substation commissioning experience, including work on 132-330 kV AIS/GIS EPC projects.
What you would do
- Represent the client for all on-site commissioning activities.
- Lead the commissioning team through RFC, energisation and final handover.
- Ensure safe execution in accordance with the Zero Harm philosophy.
- Coordinate all commissioning interfaces with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC and the Customer.
- Develop and implement the commissioning strategy and execution plan.
- Manage subcontractors, vendor specialists and commissioning engineers.
What they are asking for
- Minimum 15 years of experience in HV substation commissioning.
- Extensive experience on 132-330 kV AIS/GIS EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of HV primary equipment, protection & control, SCADA and AC/DC systems.
- Knowledge of IEC standards, grid codes and commissioning procedures.
- Proven leadership and multidisciplinary team management experience.
- English mandatory.
