About this role

The Commercial Relationship Management Officer is part of Wema Bank’s sales team, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with commercial and retail customers, developing and closing sales opportunities, and monitoring competitive activity. The role is based in Lagos Island, Lagos.

What you would do

• Execute the branch commercial sales strategy to meet targets, with product knowledge and cross-selling.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and drive customer acquisition, including opening different account types.
• Provide feedback to the sales team and product management on market needs and product development.
• Maintain current commercial relationships and convert service recoveries into business opportunities to sustain client loyalty.
• Deliver sales presentations to prospective customers and educate them about bank products and services.
• Visit clients and potential customers to evaluate needs or promote products.

• 3 to 8 years of cognate experience.
• Professional certification: CIBN.
