Commercial Finance Executive
About this role
A full-time Commercial Finance Executive role in Lagos responsible for managing accounts receivable, client accounts and collections, working with the Sales team to improve cash flow and revenue growth. Suitable for candidates with significant experience in accounts receivable, credit control or client reconciliations and a professional accounting qualification are advantageous.
What you would do
- Oversee accounts receivable and client account functions
- Drive collections and monitor ageing and overdue accounts
- Prepare and maintain client account statements and payment plans
- Investigate and resolve billing, payment and account queries or disputes
- Collaborate with Sales on credit assessments and collection strategies
- Supervise Receivables team and report receivables performance to management
What they are asking for
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in accounts receivable management, credit control or client reconciliation
- Knowledge of statutory regulations and tax matters
- Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN or ACCA is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Practical knowledge of IFRS/Local GAAP
- Demonstrable supervisory or team management experience
