Commercial Driver
About this role
The role is a full-time Commercial Driver for an Agriculture/Agro-Allied company, recruited through Ascentech Services Limited and based in Ogun State. The driver will transport goods safely, ensure timely deliveries, and handle basic vehicle upkeep and loading tasks.
What you would do
- Safely transport agricultural products, goods and materials to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of products as required.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage and fuel usage.
- Ensure all goods are properly loaded, secured and transported safely.
What they are asking for
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Commercial Driver.
- Valid Nigerian driver’s licence with appropriate driving qualifications.
- Experience driving commercial vehicles and transporting goods.
- Good knowledge of Ogun State and major routes within and outside the state.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
- Ability to work responsibly, meet delivery schedules, and maintain accurate records.
