About this role
Sisa Method Limited is seeking a Commercial and Business Development Manager to support the Ajaokuta Mini Project in Kogi State. The role focuses on building a feedstock base, market, and customer pipeline, leading presales and offtake work while ensuring commercial terms align with plant capability. The position targets someone to contribute to gas supply readiness, pricing models, and revenue forecasting as part of a lean, accountable team. The employer is developing a 7 MMscfd mini facility with first gas planned for 2027, and requires someone with strong commercial and negotiation skills. The role is based in Abuja, Nigeria, with a focus on commercial activities tied to the Kogi project and related gas markets.
What you would do
- Develop offtake templates with Legal covering price reviews, nominations, credit security and dispute resolution.
- Maintain pricing models, delivered-cost estimates, customer margins and sensitivity analyses with Finance.
- Track customer and gas supply readiness against the commissioning plan.
- Create a prioritized market map and segmented customer pipeline across industrial, commercial, manufacturing, power and autogas sectors.
- Provide the MD/CEO with monthly reports on pipeline, contracted volumes, revenue, margin and commercial risk.
- Lead presales activities including expressions of interest, letters of intent, conditional offtake agreements and term sheets.
- Develop the feedstock sourcing strategy and engage gas suppliers and pipeline/network operators on quality, volume, pricing and delivery terms.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and presentation skills with sound commercial judgement.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian gas market, customers and regulatory environment.
- Strong financial modelling and pricing skills.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating gas supply and/or offtake agreements.
- 7+ years of commercial or business development experience in gas, LNG/CNG, power or industrial fuels.
