Coiled Tubing Mechanical Technician

Schlumberger Limited is offering a full‑time role for a Coiled Tubing Mechanical Technician in Port Harcourt, Rivers. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience with coiled tubing equipment and pump systems, along with a strong mechanical background for demanding field environments. The job covers maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work in line with safety and operational standards.
What you would do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair coiled tubing equipment and high‑pressure fracturing well service pumps
- Maintain and service centrifugal pumps and nitrogen pumps
- Diagnose and repair internal combustion engines
- Work with hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical systems
- Inspect and maintain transmissions and final drives
- Utilise CMMS systems for maintenance tracking and reporting and ensure safety and operational standards
What they are asking for
- Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
- Proven experience with coiled tubing and pump systems
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Familiarity with CMMS software
