Coding Tutor

About this role

Brint School is seeking a Coding Tutor to teach programming concepts and practical coding skills to online learners, specifically African children in the diaspora. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, guiding learners through coding projects, and tailoring instruction to each learner’s age, level and goals.

What you would do

• Teach programming concepts and coding fundamentals in a clear, engaging manner.
• Guide learners through practical coding exercises, assignments, and projects.
• Develop age- and level-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Teach languages such as Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Java, or Scratch as needed.
• Help learners identify and troubleshoot errors and build problem-solving skills.
• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major programming language.
• Practical coding and project development experience.
