About this role
CNG Truck Driver (Inbound Logistics) for Dangote Group, based at the Ibese Plant in Ogun. The role involves managing inbound raw materials for the cement plant using CNG-powered trucks and ensuring deliveries are made safely and on time in line with safety and traffic regulations.
What you would do
- Safely transport raw materials to designated areas.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the CNG system, engine, and trucks.
- Monitor gas pressure levels and report any faults immediately.
- Adhere to FRSC regulations, speed limits, and plant safety protocols.
- Implement defensive driving and eco-driving techniques to maximise CNG efficiency and minimise emissions.
- Safely connect, monitor, and disconnect high-pressure CNG fuelling lines.
What they are asking for
- Minimum of SSCE Certificate.
- Valid Nigerian Class G Heavy Truck Driver’s Licence.
- Clean driving record with no history of major vehicular accidents.
- Excellent spatial awareness, basic mechanical troubleshooting, and strong communication skills.
- 1–3 years of experience driving heavy-duty articulated trucks, specifically within the Nigerian cement, mining, or heavy manufacturing sector.
