CNG Station Operator
About this role
A full-time CNG Station Operator role based in Lagos (Arepo, Ogun area) with Ascentech Services Limited. The role involves operating and monitoring station equipment such as compressors, dispensers, storage cascades and control systems, while ensuring safe operations and adherence to safety procedures. What you would do
- Monitor operating pressure, temperature, gas flow, and equipment performance.
- Operate and monitor CNG compressors, dispensers, storage cascades and related equipment.
- Support routine maintenance and coordinate with maintenance team on faults.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure emergency systems and firefighting equipment are in good condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the station.
- Maintain daily operational logs, inspection checklists and shift reports.
- Conduct routine inspections and report gas leaks, equipment faults or abnormalities.
- Perform equipment start-up and shutdown per operating procedures.
- Identify operational faults and report them promptly.

- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in CNG operations, industrial safety or equipment operation (added advantage).
- Ability to read gauges, monitor control panels and record operating parameters.

- 2 to 5 years of experience in CNG station operations, industrial gas facilities, oil and gas or similar environment.
