About this role
PATH, an international not-for-profit organisation focused on global health innovation, is seeking a Cloud Solutions Developer in Abuja. The role involves designing, developing and supporting cloud-based solutions that enable enterprise integrations and automation across PATH's platforms. It requires working with technical teams, business system owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, maintainable technical solutions and to advance modernization toward cloud-first patterns.
What you would do
- Design and develop cloud-based solutions enabling enterprise integrations and automation across PATH's platforms.
- Build, test and maintain integrations using API-based, queue-based, file-based, and scheduled processing patterns.
- Strengthen CI/CD and environment management, including source control, build pipelines, release processes, and secure handling of secrets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application, integration, deployment, data and platform layers.
- Improve technical documentation, monitoring, support readiness and knowledge transfer for key services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, platform owners and vendors to translate requirements into secure and maintainable technical solutions.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cloud solutions development, software engineering, application integration, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud-hosted integration or application services, websites and databases, and Python-based functions.
- Experience with CI/CD and release automation, ideally including Azure DevOps or similar tooling.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns such as REST APIs, scheduled processing, messaging/queues, file-based exchange, data transformation and service-to-service connectivity.
- Experience with SQL Server, ETL, or enterprise data pipelines.
