About this role
The Cloud & AI Solution Engineer is a Microsoft role based in Lagos. It involves guiding customers through digital transformation using Microsoft Cloud and AI, leading complex technical wins, and mentoring technical teams.
What you would do
- Apply advanced technical sales methods to guide customers through digital transformation, emphasising security, innovation and the value of Microsoft Cloud and AI.
- Use knowledge of customer context, portfolio expertise and industry trends to act as a trusted advisor and assess security and transformation needs.
- Lead complex technical wins across workloads, teams and regions by setting engagement rules and coaching technical sellers and account teams.
- Act as a technical thought leader by sharing best practices and delivering content at internal and external events to help customers and partners understand Microsoft cloud solutions.
- Build and nurture technical communities through calls, sessions and hackathons and mentor others to scale impact across customers, partners and internal teams.
What they are asking for
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with 6+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
- 7+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
- 8+ years in technical pre-sales, technical consulting or technology delivery, or related experience (preferred).
- 6+ years' experience with cloud and hybrid or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards and/or technology management (preferred).
- Certifications in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture) (preferred).
