About this role

Cosgrove Investment Limited in Abuja is seeking a Clerk of Works with 7-10 years of experience in construction supervision, inspection or quality control. The role involves monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards, inspecting materials and workmanship, and reporting findings to project teams.

What you would do

• Monitor construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect and report on the quality of materials, workmanship, and completed works.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations from approved specifications.
• Document, report, and maintain records of site activities and quality control.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants and site teams to coordinate quality control.

What they are asking for

• 7-10 years' proven experience in construction supervision, inspection or quality control.
• BSc/HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field.
• Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, workmanship and quality control procedures.
• Experience inspecting and reporting on the quality of materials, workmanship and completed works.
• Ability to identify defects, non-conformities and deviations from approved specifications.
