Cedar Grillz & Lounge in Abuja is seeking a DJ and music curator to manage and perform sets across multiple genres, shaping the atmosphere across the restaurant, lounge and open-air space. The role involves designing the music flow for each evening, reading the crowd and coordinating with floor, bar, games and management teams. It operates in a late-night, high-energy environment with loud music.

What you would do

• Perform professional DJ sets across Afrobeats, Amapiano, hip-hop, R&B, Highlife, Afro-fusion, dancehall, house and throwbacks.
• Design the music flow of each evening and continuously read/adapt to the crowd.
• Plan themed nights, guest DJ sets and special event soundtracks.
• Coordinate music cues with the floor, bar, games and management teams.
• Maintain a strong, organised and legally sourced music library; set up, operate and care for the DJ booth, sound system and lighting.
• Create short mixes and content for social media in coordination with Marketing.

What they are asking for

• Minimum education: SSCE/WAEC/NECO with credit in English.
• 3 - 5 years professional DJ experience in clubs, lounges, restaurants or events.
• Strong mixing skills on Serato, Rekordbox, Traktor or equivalent.
• Proven ability to read a crowd and manage energy across a full evening.
• Portfolio of recorded mixes, live-set videos and references.
• Minimum age: 21.
