Civil Supervisor
About this role
The role is Civil Supervisor for IOTA Group in Rivers, Nigeria. What you would do
- Oversee civil site construction work and ensure compliance with designs, drawings and specifications
- supervise foundation, concrete sleepers, plant roads, shore protection, demolition, and dredging activities
- manage project deliverables to align with civil design dossiers and company standards
- review and endorse red-line markups and as-built drawings; ensure punch list clearance
- monitor early works, MTOs and civil/structural interfaces; coordinate with other disciplines
- participate in project reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, 3D model reviews) and assess technical proposals from EPC contractors
- inspect site to ensure adequate manpower and resources; track productivity and provide daily status updates
- participate in hand-over, commissioning procedures and commissioning activities
- coordinate workload with construction manager, engineering and contractor; track risks and report anomalies
- support resolution of technical queries and NCRs and ensure quality and constructability of output
