What you would do

• Supervise civil and structural construction activities on project sites.
• Interpret and implement structural drawings, architectural plans and specifications.
• Ensure works comply with approved designs, codes, standards and quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, quantity surveyors and other stakeholders.
• Review materials and workmanship for compliance with specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues; escalate major concerns as needed.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, inspection records and other technical docs.
• Monitor health, safety and environmental compliance on sites.
• Assist in material estimation, quantity calculations and construction planning; manage resources and budgets.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field from a recognised institution.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering or site supervision.
• Practical experience supervising building construction and interpreting drawings.
• Knowledge of construction methods, structural principles, materials and quality control.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD; familiarity with structural analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong communication, organisational, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; coordination with site teams.
• Professional registration with COREN or eligibility is advantageous.
• Candidates residing in or around Gudu District, Abuja have an added advantage.
