Role is Civil Manager - BIP - Agricultural Development for the Dangote Group in Adamawa (DSR Numan). It oversees the development and construction of major Bulk Water Supply projects, including contractor management, adherence to schedules and quality standards, and handover procedures. What you would do

• Oversee contractors to meet schedules, QA/QC requirements and delivery for Bulk Water Supply projects.
• Conduct due diligence on potential contractors and assess their suitability against required standards.
• Lead pre-construction planning sessions and chair site meetings.
• Review drawings and technical documents, and supervise inspections, testing and handover procedures.
• Maintain and update the project Master Programme using MS Project and produce weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory and regulatory requirements and manage non-conformances with contractors.

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
• Irrigation Infrastructure Design certification and Construction Management/Project Management certifications are an added advantage.
• Minimum of 16 years continuous experience in agricultural irrigation construction projects.
• Vast experience in construction of agricultural irrigation systems and Bulk Water Supply infrastructure.
• Effective communication and people management skills.
• Project management, negotiation and presentation skills.
