Civil Engineer

What you would do

• Plan and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities.
• Coordinate civil programmes and liaise with architects, subcontractors and other departments.
• Prepare technical reports for mining, engineering and management personnel.
• Test construction materials for projects.
• Ensure projects run smoothly, within budget and on schedule.
• Supervise construction activities and coordinate site management.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of plant mechanical equipment and civil works.
• Establish and maintain a CMMS for tracking work orders and spare parts.
• Conduct site investigations, risk assessments and environmental impact assessments.
• Prepare schedules, reports and cost estimates for projects.
