What you would do

• Wash and detangle children's hair
• Perform braiding, twists and other age-appropriate styling
• Recommend gentle hair-care practices suitable for children
• Ensure hairstyles are comfortable and do not cause excessive tension
• Keep tools, towels, workstations and equipment clean
• Create a positive, relaxing experience for children during appointments
• Communicate hairstyle preferences, care needs and service charges to parents
• Maintain a safe, hygienic salon environment
• Manage time effectively and maintain hygiene standards
• Participate in the practical hairstyling assessment during selection
