Chief Technology Officer (Technology and Digital Channels)
About this role
Chief Technology Officer responsible for leading technology strategy and the digital banking agenda, ensuring secure, scalable core banking and digital channels. Targeted at senior technology leaders with experience in banking or regulated financial services; based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
What you would do
- Advise the MD/CEO on technology strategy and innovation opportunities
- Develop and oversee a scalable technology architecture aligned with business goals
- Manage the core banking platform, digital channels, and vendor relationships
- Ensure cybersecurity, information security, and regulatory compliance across tech systems
- Lead business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and incident response
- Build and lead a high-performing technology, product and data team
What they are asking for
- MBA, MSc or postgraduate qualification in technology management, information systems, business administration or related field (advantage)
- BSc or BEng in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information technology or related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years in technology with at least 4 years in banking, fintech or regulated financial services
- Professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, ITIL, PMP or cloud/tech certifications desirable
- At least 3 years in a senior technology leadership role
- Experience with digital banking channels, payment integrations, cybersecurity, cloud, data platforms and vendor management desirable
