About this role
A full-time Chief Mate role based in Warri, Delta, open to candidates with relevant maritime certifications and sea-going experience. The position is for individuals holding a CoC, STCW, a valid medical fitness certificate, and compliance with maritime regulations.
What you would do
- Oversee navigation and safety operations on board
- Assist the master in ship handling and voyage planning
- Monitor compliance with international and local maritime regulations
- supervise deck crew and cargo operations
- Maintain vessel compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Contribute to incident investigation and reporting as needed
