What you would do

• Lead Finance, IT and Continuous Improvement as an integrated agenda
• Build and lead a globally distributed finance team
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness with major funders and regulatory requirements
• Develop financial models and scenario planning to withstand funding shocks
• Partner with the CEO, General Counsel and the Board on risk, controls and reporting
• Present financial results, risks and scenarios clearly to the Board and audit committees

• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in complex international organisations
• Experience leading large, globally dispersed teams
• Direct experience with major global health funders (eg Gates Foundation, USG agencies, Global Fund, Gavi) and their reporting expectations
• Proven ability to translate financial complexity for non-financial audiences and work with boards and audit committees
• Deep knowledge of US regulatory environment for international NGOs (501(c)(3), Form 990, Uniform Guidance 2 CFR 200, federal awards, single audits)
• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, business or economics; CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent (desirable)
