About this role
The advert seeks a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership at Aldelia Limited in Lagos. The role covers financial planning and reporting, cash flow and treasury, project and commercial finance, capital planning, financial controls and portfolio allocation. What you would do
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Ensure accurate, timely and transparent financial and statutory reporting
- Provide financial insight and independent challenge to Executive Management
- Strengthen financial controls, governance and management information
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity, working capital and cash conversion
- Manage banking relationships, treasury activities and financial exposures
- Monitor collections, payments, guarantees, covenants and other financial commitments
- Ensure material liquidity and funding risks are identified and escalated early
- Provide financial oversight of project costs, WIP, margins, billing, collections and forecasts
- Lead financial planning and governance for capital planning and funding processes
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ICAN, ACCA, CPA, CFA required
- MBA or similar postgraduate qualification is an advantage
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant senior finance experience
- Strong experience in financial planning, reporting, treasury, liquidity, working capital, controls, project and commercial finance
- Experience in capital strategy, funding structures, financial modelling and capital allocation
- Experience with banks, lenders, investors, advisers, auditors and regulators
- Experience supporting capital raising or project financing
- Experience leading Finance teams and engaging with executive management
- Experience in oil & gas, energy services, engineering or project-based environments is highly desirable
