About this role
A Chief Financial Officer is sought for a growing financial services organisation in Lagos. The role requires strategic leadership of finance and administration, strengthening controls, and advising the executive team and board on financial matters.
What you would do
- Lead the Finance and Administration function, including structures, policies and processes
- Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, controls and regulatory compliance
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, planning, liquidity, treasury and investment activities
- Provide strategic financial advice to the MD/CEO and executive management
- Support financial models for pricing, fundraising, and long-term sustainability
- Oversee tax, audits, procurement, and relations with key stakeholders and the board
What they are asking for
- Master's Degree from a reputable university
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, CIMA, IIA, CISA or equivalent)
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in MSME credit landscape or similar, with at least 12 years in a senior managerial role
- Strong knowledge of financial services, banking practices, cash management and treasury instruments
- Experience with budgeting, cost and risk management, and financial analysis
- Experience implementing accounting and financial reporting systems
