Chief Financial Officer

About this role

A Chief Financial Officer is sought for a Nigerian manufacturing group in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector, to join the executive leadership team and provide strategic financial stewardship, governance and growth support. The role is based in Ilorin, Kwara State, with consideration for relocation of candidates from outside Ilorin.

What you would do

• Provide strategic leadership for the Group's financial operations.
• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting and financial analysis.
• Oversee treasury, liquidity, cash flow and working capital management.
• Lead capital raising and financing negotiations and manage funding relationships.
• Strengthen governance, risk management, internal controls and compliance.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ICAN FCA/ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• MBA or MSc is an added advantage.
• 15 to 20 years of progressive finance experience including at least 5 years in an executive finance leadership role.
• Experience in manufacturing or pharma/healthcare/FMCG and multi-entity organisations.
• Experience in capital raising, banking relationships, and engagement with Boards/Executive teams.
