Chief Financial Officer
About this role
A Chief Financial Officer is sought to provide strategic financial leadership for Bridgemead Consulting, overseeing both existing contracting activities and a developing upstream oil and gas business. The role focuses on shaping financial strategy, capital raising, and investor relations to support new asset development and growth in Lagos, Nigeria.
What you would do
- Lead the company’s financial strategy with the CEO and Board
- Develop financial plans for newly acquired blocks including capex and budgets
- Evaluate investment, partnership, farm-in/out options and advise management
- Lead fundraising across debt, equity and structured finance and manage investor relations
- Oversee reserves and project economics in financial planning and budgeting for upstream assets
- Ensure financial reporting, compliance and controls across contracting and upstream businesses
What they are asking for
- First degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- Minimum 15 years finance experience with significant senior leadership
- Direct experience in oil and gas, preferably upstream, with understanding of reserves and field economics
- Experience in finance related to banking, investment, project finance or advisory and in capital raising
- Strong IFRS, budgeting, financial modelling, taxation and audit knowledge
