Chef de Partie – Asian Nigerian Fusion
About this role
The role is for a Chef de Partie specialising in Asian Nigerian fusion, based in Lagos at Hyatt Regency Lagos Ikeja. It targets experienced culinary professionals who will manage a kitchen section, prepare contemporary Asian and Nigerian fusion dishes, and uphold Hyatt standards.
What you would do
- Manage a designated kitchen section during service
- Prepare and present dishes according to Hyatt standards
- Maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation
- Monitor stock levels and ingredient quality
- Train and mentor junior culinary colleagues
- Support menu development and seasonal promotions
What they are asking for
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or related field
- Food Safety and Hygiene certification preferred
- HACCP certification an advantage
- 3–5 years of culinary experience in high-volume dinner service
- Experience in Asian cuisine and Nigerian cuisine
- Experience as Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a specialty restaurant, luxury hotel, or upscale dining establishment
